With the Annual Election Period in full swing, there are many scammers out there looking to take advantage of people. If someone calls you to try and sell any Medicare products or says they work for Medicare just hang up. Do not give your Medicare number out to anyone who calls you. Make sure you are the one who initiates the call whenever you are going to give out personal information.
If you are just turning 65 years old or going on to Medicare for the first time, please stay alert and watch out for con artists. The con artists will act like they are trying to sign you up for Insurance or say they work for Medicare.
